KABAR BANGGAI — The Government of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Regulation of the Minister of Immigration and Corrections of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2026 concerning the Addition of the List of Countries, Special Administrative Regions of a Country, and Certain Entities Granted Visa-Free Visit Facilities, has added six countries and territories to the list eligible for the Visa-Free Visit (BVK) facility to Indonesia. The regulation was enacted in Jakarta on July 7, 2026.
The six countries and territories are the Republic of Türkiye, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Peru, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Special Administrative Region of Macau of the People’s Republic of China, and the Republic of Belarus. This addition is part of the Indonesian Government’s immigration policy to facilitate visits by Foreign Nationals (WNA) from designated countries and territories.
With the granting of this Visa-Free Visit facility, visits by citizens of these six countries and territories are expected to become easier and support the increase of international mobility to Indonesia. This policy is also an effort to strengthen Indonesia’s relations with the related countries and territories, including in the fields of tourism, economy, and international cooperation.
Despite being granted the Visa-Free Visit facility, all Foreign Nationals remain required to comply with the applicable immigration requirements and regulations in Indonesia.
